A memory reflected tonight,

I was a bit dizzy,

7 DIARY

Sometimes I stop to think weird things

When my imagination takes it’s wings

to say, my bond with my diary

A real friend in my life story

I dump all my emotions,

Through my words flowing in motion

On those pages

Which I turn after ages

To read through those laughter and cries,

Those untold truths and told lies

When I had no one by my side

But still my feelings, I hide

From whom? I don’t know,

But something that I don’t want to show

All those days and nights

Darkness and lights

I scratched it on the body of my diary

And it serve it as my best buddy

I pass down all my shames and worry

As I know it will be safe in my diary

I was not alone but still alone

When I found my diary to be what I only own

And so I share a special bond

It only can consume my emotional pond.

8 RIFT

Mind is our servant

But we are slaves of our heart

Conflict between two will be ever last

Though time is running fast

But coincidence can never be forecast

People overdo things out of lust

It ruin their lives into dust

The moment heart convinces mind hast

Is nothing less than an emotional blast

9 LIFE IN LONG RUN

Everywhere I look today

I find myself to be fading away

The world moved ahead

With times, people have changed

I feel myself to be stagnant

Where my presence was eminent.

I won’t say my life is bad

Ages passed now realized

It’s been a long time

Since, you are chasing your dreams

Haven’t you realized? Oh! Devine,

Your laughter changed into screams

How have you been so pathetic?

That you never complained

For a life so hectic,

Are you punishing yourself?

But for what?

Have you ever thought?

Stop chasing and take a while,

The flowers are yet to bloom

It’s still a dark room,

Let’s open the window

For some rays, wind so slow;

The clouds are hiding it’s mistake

I can’t understand

My hand was trembling,

Suddenly it felt numb,

Words were dumb.

Never regretted even if it’s worst

I always hoped to see.

The moment was ruthless,

As a part of my life race,

But appears to be dead.
